As for the supply chain, they are experiencing unprecedented lead times in the semiconductor industry. Electronic components that historically took 16-20 weeks to deliver are now running 70+ weeks, with many in governed allocation. With these long lead times and allocation issues, visibility is challenging, sometimes making it difficult to provide accurate ship dates to our customers.
To mitigate these issues, it is imperative that customers provide future demand visibility to our agents with 12-24 month scheduled purchase orders and committed forecasts. Doing so better equips Digi to support future demand and ensure more timely deliverables. Digi can better serve customers when they have visibility into these expectations.
